PHGS Travel Award 2025: Four winners

The PIER Helmholtz Graduate School (PHGS) is delighted to present the four winners of the PHGS Travel Award 2025: Julie Torndal (CMS), Alberto Belvedere (CMS), Silvan Dolling (FS-NL) and Edgar Cristopher Cortes Garcia (MPY).

The selection committee was impressed with the outstanding scientific accomplishments of the four awardees in their field of research. Congratulations on the impressive progress all four doctoral researchers have made in their research!

The PHGS Travel Award is endowed with up to 3,000 euros. It serves to finance the travel expenses of the award-winning doctoral researcher and participation in a scientific event of their choice.

The prize is announced once a year. The next application deadline is January 15, 2026.
