Joint DESY/UHH perspectives in detector research
We are pleased to announce the first PIER Workshop on “Joint DESY and Universität Hamburg perspectives in detector research” taking place as a full-day event at the DESY auditorium on Bahrenfeld campus on June 1, 2023.
The development and building of detectors is an integral and important part of the research done at the campus Bahrenfeld. Detectors are central to all our research fields - particle physics, photon science, astroparticle physics, etc.
With this workshop, we want to understand better the state of detector developments in Hamburg, discuss the state of the field in general, and explore the future for this research in Hamburg.
To particpate in the workshop, we kindly ask everyone to register. There will be no registration fee to participate.
